Fair play to the Millers.

It was a good first half...but the second half was dull. Drewe Broughton was poor, IMO and I can't see him staying after a month unless he stops doing impressions of a tennis racket. The ball just seems to bounce off him and he loses it every time.
It was 3-1 at half time, and neither team scored in the second half. Striker Rhodes got MOTM, and was subbed, and the rest of the team just seemed to defend for 45 mins. We should have beat Chester 6-1, as the goal difference at the end of the season may be crucial, but we play Wolves in the cup on Tuesday, and with a safe win, Robins possibly could have told the team to save themselves for that.
Joseph and Mills have a virus, and I have to say that they were missed today. Maybe that 6-1 win I wanted could have been ours if they were fit.
But, as you say scriptman, we're now on -8...and Rotherham have a good team; all credit to Mark Robins.
And I had a very nice pukka pie.
UTM!

what are you saying, scriptman? I see... you've conveniently forgot about the Donny v Rotherham debates we used to have on Donnymad.. when you Thommo and Hull_miller used to bully and pick on me.

If I remember rightly...you used to pick on me! I was just a misunderstood little sweetheart! And thommo used to pick on me. In fact, you used to stick up for me against thommo! lol Hull Miller doesn't talk to me any more lol Have you read the Sun? It says that our chairman, Tony Stewart, has told the manager of Wolves that we play like Brazil. lol Oh dear!

I think he does right. If you get a chairman with a confident demeanor, it rubs off on the players and fans. I actually predicted Rotherham to go up before the points deduction... they still might. Theoretically MK Dons would have still finished 5th last season if they had a 15 points deduction. If they can do it, so can you. If you do make the play-offs it would be absolutely fantastic, and I for one hope you do.

If Rotherham manage to get 90 points this season, it would give them a net total of 75 points, which was good enough for the play-offs in 5 out of the last 6 seasons. From what I hear you are playing a more balanced game this season compared to two years ago when you started League One with a 10pt deduction. Then you were looking to make up ground by going 100mph from the onset, but you inevitably ran out of steam. I think Robins has learnt from this... allowing Rotherham to play a more steady and footballing pace. Added to this (I know I keep harping on) but you do have some of the best playing and training facilities in League 2... a colourful and optimistic chairman, and you are free from the hangman's noose. Put all of these ingredients together and it bodes really well....put a decent team into the mix and a play-off spot is firmly within the realms of possibility.

Making the play offs is one thing, but what a bummer it would be if we reached the play off final and fell at the last hurdle, after all the extra effort it took to get there. Thats just me though, ever the optimist ;-)
Foo, i never picked on you, i made up quite an insulting poem about you which seemed to hit a nerve! Maybe that was picking on you but not in the same way the MAD crew often gang up on you ;-)
Script, if i ever picked on you it was because i was a presumptuous fool and after being on the receiving end of a donny gadgy verbal attack, assumed that all Rovers fans who used donnyMAD were all the same as him. I miss him, not heard owt from him for a while, he was so easy to wind up :-)

That's because you're not perfect, scriptman. Why don't you come to DV with me, and we'll listen to the Foo Fighters on the way...i'm sure I could change your mind.

I've tried to listen to the Foo Fighters......god knows I've tried, but alas they just aren't my cup of tea. I was going to go down last Tuesday to the DVS. I gave my young'un a choice between the Millers on Tuesday or Dons Rugby on Wednesday, and he chose the egg chasers.

Your odds have drastically shortened. You're 10/1 for promotion now, I had a couple of quid on you at 33/1 a couple of week ago.

I'll take you out anyway foo.... Great result for the Millers. If you manage to get a point away from home against the difficult teams and win the home games.... you might just be playing Barnsley next season ;D
