hometownpride The quiz is still fine because it's stored on a different web site to the forum site.... but the server for the forum site is running very slow.....but then it was a free web host I was using. I've registered a domain but they take time to activate...so I'm getting a tad frustrated. Time is not over generous to me..so I like to get things done when there is a window of spare time Thanks all for the generous comments about the quiz

I always thought free web host ran smoothly script. I have onlydone blogs so I have no clue.
How much does it cost for your own domain url ?

This is my first attempt at doing owt like this...but from what I have gathered...the free ones tend to be very popular..and because more peole use them....the server sometimes get's a tad overwhelmed so runs slow.
From what i've seen, domains can cost anything from a couple of quid hundreds to of pounds.
