I didn't realise they had such an interesting history. I have recently visited the museum on Bramall Lane. I didn't know they are the oldest league playing football ground in the world, and they were the first ground to ever use floodlights...and there's much more.
I can understand Blades fans being very proud of this...and it makes me feel very sad when I think of my team, Rotherham United.
If other teams supporters get the chance, the museum is worth a visit.
Don't know if it's still there, but there used to be a room at Clifton park Museum, dedicated to Rotherham United. We too have an interesting history, and that also is well worth a visit.

Teams should have museums to celebrate their history..it's part of our history and life as well. From being about 7 year-old to my mid 20s...I was massive football nut. I was even buying 'Shoot' magazine in my late teens because that was the way it always had been. I saved them all, as well as hundreds of football programmes I had accumulated over the years....but just over 20 years ago, when we moved house, I gave them all away...and I regret it big time. I gave away Donny player signed photos from the 60s and 70s, Donny programmes from the 60s, 70s and 80s.... an Alan Woodward photo I had taken with him..and which he signed, the first issue of Shoot from the late 60s.... the esso football coins.... World Cup guides...you name it. They must be worth a few bob now.....but since I moved I've haven't seen the kid I gave them to.

Kids at school wanted to be George Best.... I wanted to be Alan Woodward. He was my first hero of football. The photo is from about 1973.
