Reuben Reid has signed a 2 year contract with Rotherham United. Mark Robins was obviously impressed with the 19 year old Striker, who was released by Plymouth Argyle. I watched him play at last night's friendly Against Sheffiled FC, and was quite impressed. Although the Millers lost 2-1, they played the reserves and youth team; as the fisrt team are playing tonight against Scunthorpe. Tonight's match will be the second friendly played at DV. Tony Stewart is in London. He's talking to the FL to try and negotiate a deal regarding minus points. I hope he can work some magic on them...but i'm not holding my breath after Luton's -30. It's not looking good for the Millers, but our situation isn't the same as Luton's...maybe we'll end up with -10 if we're lucky.

I thought the FL were going to make a decision regarding Rotherham's situation, why are they delaying things?

They've been through some crap these last few years. It's about time fate dealt them a good hand. I anticipate a 15 point deduction...which I feel will be a tad too much for them to make up. I think with the Millers this season, it's going to have to be a case of regrouping, and making good of a bad situation. A good run in the JP Trophy won't go amiss.

League starts soon...and still no decision. This is worse than waiting for my exam results! We're getting a right good kicking while we're down...but that's not enough...the FL want us to suffer, just a little bit longer.

Don Valley was great, and the atmosphere wasn't too bad, considering it was a friendly. I liked the Barnsley fans. Some of them really wanted to antagonise us with their singing, which was funny and added to the atmosphere of the game. I thoroughly enjoyed singing "It's all gone quiet over there!" when we scored. hehehehe ;D
Venue was good, weather was good....staff were nice and it was good to see some of the stewards from Millmoor working there. My first trip to DV was a positive experience...just hope the team can tighten up a bit and keep us in the league this season.

Don't know. Didn't say at the game, as far as I heard, and I haven't read anything about it. The official site isn't up to much.
