I know you shouldn't read too much into friendlies....but Donny were mighty impressive. I'm not sure who the black lad was at centre back..... the trialist.... but I say GET HIM SIGNED. A word about the Toon Army.. Phenomenal. A friendly match against a lower league team over 100 miles away... and over 3000 travelling supporters And what about Stuart Elliot.... the guy looked sharp.

I didn't go today, but from what I have heard, the team played well and I'm sure that come August 9th, they will be ready for the real action! The black lad at CB could be signed up from what I read, due to his magnificent performance - the fans love him.
The countdown to the start of the season is on, and I for one can't wait.

I'm not over enthused about friendlies pintolager, but my youngest is just 11-years-old, and Newcastle is a big draw for him. Saying that however, I'm glad I did go today. I was getting concerned about the lack of signings...but Heffs, Hayter, Elliot, and Taylor, all looked very fit and sharp.

agree with centre half - someone said he was ex newcastle seemed to be quite friendly with a few of them. i take it his grasp of engleesh was somewhat lacking

Yes but do you know his name? Even the Official Site are referring to him as Trialist. I reckon they're trying to keep him under wraps.
