........ I feel a weird sense of relief that Donny have lost. They had to lose sometime. By all accounts we got a bit of a lesson. I think sometimes you can learn more about your team in defeat than in victory. Sometimes a victory can mask poor performances from individuals, and I think think defeat highlights what a lot of people already know, and that is a forward line that will struggle in this league.

What rubbish! I hope RUFC win every game they play, and will be utterly p1ssed off when they lose! lol Can't wait till we're in the Championship so we can show you how it's done!

I was utterly peeved off... hence the title 'Bitterly disappointed' At the same time Donny needed to see what the CCC has to offer. The first two games against Derby and Cardiff saw us out-football supposedly quality football sides and we would have learnt little. The QPR defeat showed us what we need to add to our game. Rotherham have done well thus far, but at the end of the day you've only beaten teams who have amassed one point between them in League 2, and one of those, Lincoln, played you off the park. Of course goals count, but quality will prevail in the end and in due course we'll see what both Donny and Rotherham are made of in the respected leagues.

After the early games Script, have you changed any of your early season opinions of Donny, and the Champship in general?

acido- I think we can challenge for a play-off spot providing we focus on our game and don't become overawed as I think we was last Saturday. The first 30 minutes against Cardiff, the Donny players looked like they weren't supposed to be at the party and the difference in class was apparent. But then Donny just seemed to click and thereafter dominated Cardiff. We have to lose the 'little team fear' syndrome, because that will destroy us. Donny fans are going to Birmingham next week. A lot will look around in awe, pinching themselves....marvelling at the fact we are playing a team who was only in the Premier League last season. If the Donny players felt like that, and they are only human, then we are going to get beat. Football wise, I firmly believe we can match most in the league, but I think success in football is as much to do with self belief, arrogance and confidence as it is to do with footballing ability, and the former, I feel, will let us down if we go about acting like starstruck teenagers. Last week we were bullied out of the game, pure and simple. SO'D went on record saying that we allowed QPR to intimidate us. We have to lose that fear.... and I think we will.

We're still unbeaten. Time will tell. We must stay optimistic and always think we can win every game we enter into...otherwise, what's the point. We beat Wolves in the cup, and they beat Forest 5-1 yesterday...anything can happen. Maybe we'll meet Donny in league 1 in two seasons?
