Looking back I used to love it.... I'm not sure I felt the same when I was actually at school though. We had a PE teacher who would slipper the last person in the gym. Our deputy head had a set of canes in like a snooker cue rack. He'd look at you and then run his finger along the row of canes whilst deciding which one to use. Teachers were a bunch of sadistic b******s. They used to look forward to the freezing cold days or the wettest day before sending you out on cross-country. Me and friend was once playing a football game during a lesson. We'd write numbers on the edges of pencils and role it to see what score teams got. I was enjoying it until the teacher threw a blackboard rubber at me. When I got home and showed my dad the bruise....he said 'serves you right, you should have been paying attention' The good things? School dinners. I must be the only person to have liked school dinners. Chocolate concrete with pink custard. Suet pudding, fish and chips.... we were really up on healthy meals like that.

I hated school!
If you were crap you got overlooked, if you were good at something the young teachers made life difficult for you, 'cos they couldn't stand the fact that a kid could do it better than them.
Sometimes I got bullied, and my mum used to say ignore them...it never worked; which may explain now why I tend to be a bit on the vocal side now, and won't tolerate bullying of any kind.
Hated P.E
Hated maths
Hated my computer studies teacher who totally scewed up my chances in that subject.
Hated assembly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hated white cabbage and ravioli
Enjoyed messing about and going to the chip shop at lunch time.
Learned more since I left school.

Enough said. If you had enjoyed school and come away an educated person you'd be wearing red and white hoops now

No I didnt like school at all, or maybe I didnt like what it was all about. I miss the school days with my classmates though, in the early 80s, which I find strange.
