Some great moments in the Donny match. At times some good football played, and an absolute cracking goal from Wellens. I thought Gareth Taylor played well. We do lack that bit of confidence in front of the goal though. I'd like to mention Brian Stock who I though was superb, also Sam Hird who just looks like a completely different player. Talk about taking you chance with both hands.
Good result for Barnsley, Carlisle and Rotherham. I'm not sure what to think about the Leeds result. I still think they will go up though?

Not convincing at all to be honest from the tykes,we are playing like a team of 11 individuals and there's no evidence of any cohesion or understanding at this moment in time,Humes goal was totaly out of context with the quality of the game,it was a superb strike and one of the best goals i have seen down there in many a long year,Derby were very poor too and look to be heading for a second straight relegation fight. Much to reflect on for Davey and we can only improve and lets hope we can peak just in time for the two show-downs with Rovers next month, when the world will end should we lose any of those two games, eagerly anticapted is an under-statement.

SO'D is the complete opposite. Donny could sign Ronaldo, but if he didn't function as a team player, SO'D wouldn't play him. SO'D's favourite phrase is 'collective responsiblity'.

I thought sean had the right idea by bringing on lockwood, but locky unfortunately is not the man to stabilize things at the moment IMO. In all honesty locky looked a mess when he came on Saturday.
Locky had two very nervous moments in the game, one being him heading the ball straight into the danger area ... when he was attempting to clear the ball . The second cock up being locky caught asleep...fortunately for him the attack was halted because of an infringement.
I think sod was right bringing on locky because mills and hird struggle in the air, and also Coventry started to play route 1 and with cov having 3 top ccc strikers upfront... it was always going to be dangerous in the last 15 mins, so i think sod got it bang on IMO it's just a shame locky is struggling

there seems to be a lack of confidence in locky, you could see it all over mills and stocky. whilst i dont entirely agree with him bringing on locky (personally i'd prefer the hoff on the bench) something needed changing however we had no outlet up front hence the ball was never cleared. it is this sort of time we need to bring on a lewis guy type player as well. still 3 points will do me

We're getting the usual pro Davey comments now saying how great he is and didnt they tell us all along, the team will turn it around eventually etc..
Well no Im not agreeing with that... not at the moment anyway! As you said Animal Derby were poor, but they still outplayed us and Luke Steele played a blinder for us. It felt like Davey had left his subs/tactical changes too late again and thankfully Derby werent good enough to take their chances. This happened to us against QPR and Cov though so I will gladly accept the 3 points and hope it is the start of something better to come.
I wont hold my breath though under this manager.
