Tony Stewart (chairman of Rotherham United) is pleased with the performance of the team so far, (from what i've read).
He's pleasantly surprised that since moving to DV, seasson ticket sales have gone up 20%, and plans for a new stadium are looking optimistic.
He thinks that the -17 was unfair, because he wasn't the one who took the club into administration...which is what I said. I personally feel that the FL were too harsh on us.
We play Luton on Saturday. I feel sorry for them...but I hope we give'em a rate taterin'.

So you should Foo. It's good to see you guys upbeat after a traumatic couple or so years. If you were in the same league as Donny I wouldn't be so gracious though ;D
Onwards and upwards for the Millers

Cheers, scriptman. We're good at taterin' championship teams, so you really WOULD be worried, with Donny being so rubbish.

Rotherham have signed striker Richie Barker on a 3 month loan from Hartleypool. Robins is hoping to sign him during the January window, and Barker is said to be pleased with the move, as he still lives in Rotherham, and is looking forward to coming back.
If we win tomorrow at home to Grimsby, we'll be +1 point. We desperately need to be scoring more goals...hopefully Baker will be the man to do the job.
Welcome back Richie.

Rotherham 4 grimsby 1
We're now in plus points! ;D
Reid, Hudson, Cummins...then Barker!!!! Come on you reds!!!!
Pathetic first half. Grimsby scored, Cummins had an open goal and was too scared to take a shot; crossing it in front of the goal! Luckily he redeemed himself. Very poor midfiield...but it all came good in the end.
Onwards and upwards.
JPT against Leeds on Wed 8th.

I thought we played crap against Grimsby and without trying to sound patronising, its a good job it was only Grimsby (who would be rock bottom were it not for the deductions) and not a Bury or a Wycombe, we would have been out of the game by half time playing like that.
Still, a win is a win and who cares how we get them?

If you played crap and still won by a scoreline like that, it bodes fantastically well for the rest of the season. That play-off spot is becoming more a possibility.

I'm pleased we don't have to play them this season. The Millers are on fire. It would be great if they can keep up this momentum.

Oh shut up Thommo! The second half was a totaly different game, we were on fire! lol Thankyou everyone else. A few months ago, I didn't even think we had a team. I'm delighted at how things have turned out. Like scriptman says, let's hope it continues. Leeds had 75 % of posession in the first half hour, they played well...but it was just our day. When we got the ball, we made it count...tho Warrington had to make a couple of very good saves! And he got motm. UTM!
