daggers are here to stay now You aren't the new boys now.....and the last thing you want to do is to take your foot of the gas. You need to push on.....because it won't be easy. The likes of Aldershot will be scrapping for their lives....and the last thing you want is to be embroiled in a relegation battle.

I posted the following questions on Exeter City forum EXEWEB), and they were duly answered by Phil Sayers1. Do you anticipate ‘a gulf’ in the standard of football between the Blue Square Premier and Coca Cola League Two football? Not a gulf as such - with only two up and two down it makes sense that the strongest teams in the Conference are as good as the weaker teams in L2. However I do think that in some areas a sizeable difference remains and mainly that is up front and in goal. 2. What are your realistic expectations for next season? Well I don't think we will be relegation threatened and there is an outside possibility we could do really well and compete for that last play-off space. The truth is that after five years I really won't know until we have played ten games or so - if I was forced to bet I would say about 14th is most likely. 3. Do you expect any change in national or local media coverage, and what do you expect the atmosphere to be like at your club next season? We will get more coverage in the papers etc but far less live coverage. Atmosphere is a tough one - If we do well it will be superb but if we struggle I can imagine it turning nasty if the fans (who have become used to watching a winning team) don't alter their expectation levels at home games. 4. What games are you looking forward to most next season?Bournemouth probably although it will make a pleasant change to visit Valley Parade rather than Farsley... 5. Who are your tips for promotion and relegation from League TwoI don't know enough about the League to comment on the top end but plenty of candidates for exiting at the bottom - Dagenham, Accrington, Macclesfield would top the list. 6. Do you have any thoughts on who might be successful in the Blue Square Premier next season...and/or any other leagues? There will be lots of good teams next year in the BSP - Torquay, Stevenage, Rushden, Wrexham, Burton, Oxford should all do well. A big thanks to Phil
